The photo you see here has a good story, in 1970 I was 20 years old and playing with Kurt Gibbon's "The New Breed". We were at TRAC Recording Studios in Silver Spring, Maryland recording Kurt's original medley. Our friend Bennet Licktenstein was there taking pictures of us. This one wasn't staged at all but the black and white shot with perfect contrast captured at the moment was what Bennet did. He had a great eye for photography. This is only 1 of 2 pictures of me every playing a Gibson Les Paul. I had two of them at the time but as you all may know, I am a longtime Fender guitarist for many reasons. Thank you Bennet for the coolest moment you captured with your cameras eye. We miss you, I believe we lost him in the mid 1970's.
